| Valencia Description: | | Daniel Newman sculpted "Valencia" from a wonderful Italian Portoro Marble. This stone is characterized by an intense and beautiful black base color, and rich, buttery gold color veins running throughout. Portoro Marble has been used throughout history for art and architectural projects of the highest importance. The name "Portoro" is derived from the region in Italy where the stone is found, and loosely translates to "golden gate" from the Italian "porta oro." |
