| Flame Description: | This contemporary representation of a single, curvaceous flame reaches skyward in one gently sloping line. Glass artist Dino Rosin’s simple design allows for the showcase of the powerful Calcedonia colors. The distinguishing colors of Calcedonia glass, comparable to the stripes in a zoned agate, are created through the introduction of silver nitrate to crystal clear glass. Patterns found in each Dino Rosin sculpture cannot be controlled since the colors depend solely on the chemical reaction of each batch. As a result, every sculpture - including "Flame" - has the added element of chance upon that of unparalleled mastery. Straight from Murano, Italy, this uniquely vibrant work will be an elegant addition to any home or office.
Dino Rosin is a true "Maestro" from the celebrated glass art island of Murano, Italy. Rosin continues his family's tradition of glass blowing that dates back generations.
