| Wildflowers II - Original Painting on Classic Guitar Description: | | Jami Tobey is known for the brilliant colors and exciting stained-glass stylization of her paintings. Here, she departs from her typical stretched canvas surface, instead painting the front and back of a "classic" style guitar. For this guitar, she sanded down the original finish, and applied her own embellishments in several layers. Acrylic paint is ideal in this case, maintaining vibrant colors and providing the perfect level of workability. Jami Tobey finished the composition with gold accents applied via a special process. The guitar is then tuned. It is up the collector's discretion if he or she would like to play their guitar - it is possible! Savvy guitar players and collectors will want to play with the strings and tuning to create their ideal instrument.
