1.5ct Iolite, 25ct. Blue Topaz, Lapis

The center stone in this piece is a beautiful 1.5ct iolite.It is a vision stone; it is a stone of the mystic.It activates the third eye, and can facilitate visualizations, intuitive insights, and inner knowing.Iolite is commonly used in shamanic ceremonies to assist in out of body journeys.When in contact with the body, energy field iolite gives off an electrical charge at a frequency that stimulates the aura and aligns subtle bodies.This is due in part to the nature of the crystal field in the matrix of the stone, which is dichroic, changing color when viewed from different angles.In this stone the color ranges from a rich royal blue to violet-blue.Though not seen, it does radiate into the ultraviolet.The properties of the iolite are greatly enhanced by being set into a 14ct. natural blue topaz on the front, as well as that it is set into a blue topaz on the back.Finally, it is set in lapis, so the total weight of blue topaz is 25 cts.
