"Cradle of Love" features the bright, super-saturated colors for which Victor Crisostomo is known.  The artist's trademark "soft style" of painting shows a bare-chested young man with feathers in his hair standing next to a woman wearing a dark blue jacket with large, brassy buttons.  The effect is complex, because the man seems traditional in his appearance and the woman is referencing the urban landscape in her choice of clothes.  And yet, the two figures are in harmony with each other.  "Cradle of Love" becomes a touching portrait of how we blend our ancestor's heritage with our present identity.
